October is Positive Ageing Month

This is Positive Ageing Month, a month-long festival of events and activities to highlight the valuable contribution older people make to everyone’s lives. It aims to encourage older people to reach out and connect, not only to reduce social isolation and loneliness, but to support in living, long healthy lives.

There are lots of opportunities to take part across Northern Ireland with a number of councils publishing a handy calendar of events to choose from. So, check out what’s on offer, events both online or in person; and remember to share with anyone you think might benefit from getting involved too.
